1950 chevy fleetline deluxe custom. Total restoration with ground up rebuild.
1950 Chevrolet Fleetline
This vehicle is a complete ground-up/custom build in the styling of 1960's classics of the American Graffiti style. Car was said to be in that film, unable to verify. Vehicle has been completely rebuilt since then. Frame up build includes powder coated frame, media blasted body, then metal etching primer was applied prior to paint. Custom hood louvers are reminiscent of early 60's customs as well as the very rare 1950 Buick, "Waterfall," front bumper narrowed and customized to fit as a beautiful replacement of the boring Chevy original bumper/grill. The Lexus Matador Red paint is perfectly stunning with all new interior treatment. Vehicle is powered by rebuilt/fresh Chevy 283 with all new running gear to include 700r4 transmission, drive-line and Ford 9 inch rear axle. Front brakes are disc and rear are drum, also new. As an acknowledgement to the early customs of that era, this vehicle does not include LS engine, power brakes, power steering, A/C, or fancy air ride/hydraulics, or modern sounds. Vehicle is lowered in the traditional style using new rear leafs, and Fat Man lowering dog bones up front. Era perfect custom pin-striping applied by Alex Hamilton. Front brakes are Classic Industries upgrade. Tires are Toyo radial whitewall. Low mileage on vehicle is 1470 since complete rebuild and being returned to the road. The car drives beautifully and has clean title. Vehicles such as this one are becoming extremely rare. This beauty has garnered many first place trophies. Don't pass up this opportunity to own a truly timeless classic!
