1978 Chevrolet Chevy Monza Fast street or drag car.

This rolling chassis was built some years ago and saw lots of street use and some strip use.
It has a proven history of being caught and put in impound several times but escaped to race another day.
This car has, new 15 by 15 inch Monocuque (now Bogart) rear wheels. Mickey Thompson Sportsman 31x18.5x15 inch tires. Ford nine inch rearend with 411 gear and posi unit. It has coil over shocks and a ladder bar with track locater. The cage in this car ties into everything and it already has the sub frame connectors tied in with the roll bars that go up front. It comes with approx a 25 gallon fuel tank and Holley Blue pump with half inch line for those of you who want to run methanol you can still go quite a distance before re fueling.
Headlights and tail lights and turn signals and brake lights work as they should, Wipers work as well.
Car has B and M quarter stick shifter set up for three speed automatic,
Disc brakes in the front and drums in the rear. Cool old school snorkle scoop rams the air into that killer engine your going to put in this car. Brakes work good and has a good pedal.
Engine wiring is all there and would be a simple hook up for a small block chevy install. The car has a mid platemount and its front mount is the horseshoe stile from the Bel Air era. You can put what ever mounts in the Monzathat you want.
Car does have a small bit of rust through in the floor pans and could use a patch. The rot does not interfear with theback half or front frame section. Car also comes with rear trans mount that ties in with the frame.
So if you have been wanting to outrun that dude who has been out running you then get this car and show him your rear bumper. Be the kid on the block who has the newest coolest (old) toy!!!!
