Listed here is my 1968 Chevelle Malibu.My plan was to keep this car indefinitely as it’s #2 on my list of dream vehicles. Unfortunately, after 10 years of looking, I came across a deal on #1 so this one has to go.

I bought this car from the second owner who owned it since 1984. I have a 1” thick binder full of receipts and maintenance logs dating back to then. Starting with when he bought the car for 300$.

Since then, I began to build it out as a restomod and this is how far I’ve gotten. Everything in this list was done in the last 6 months and has under 1,000 miles on it.

- Stock 5.3L V8 engine with lots of new parts. Very healthy, idles at 38psi III pressure when warm and 46 when cold

- T5 manual 5spd trans

- Brand new clutch, flywheel, and throw out bearing

- Dakota digital gauges

- QA1 adjustable coil overs

- 2” drop spindle kit in the front with new control arms

- new wheel bearings

- Drilled and slotted discs in the front

- Retrosounds radio

- New dash

Car is going into the shop on Monday to get the transmission rebuilt, so that will be brand new with a warranty.

Peeling off the old tint this weekend so windows will look like new. Tiny rust spot on one of the rockers, but not rusted through. Rust free besides that.

There’s more that I’m forgetting. Everything works on the car. Power steering, lights, signals, wipers, heater, literally everything. I love driving this thing and really wish I could afford to keep both. Would love to see this thing go to a good home and get finished. All it needs is paint which I was saving for the summer time and you’ll have a proper 50k$+ restomod Chevelle.
