Here we have for sale a beautiful 1957 Chevy Cameo pickup truck. I have owned this truck for many years now and it’sbeen my pride and joy. It always gets so much attention whenever you drive the truck. These Cameo pickup trucks are very hard to find and were rare when they were built let alone today. The 1957 is arguably the most desirable and best looking because of the stainless bed trim they added to it then. I bought the truck restored and how you see it. The only thing I have done is lowered the truck a couple of inches. I have all of the stock components to bring it up to stock height if desired. I just thought this stance looked way better. I also installed brand new Coker Bias Ply white wall tires on it. They probably have 500 miles on them at most. The truck was restored many years ago and still shows very well. The truck was repainted the original green color that is came from the factory. The paint is nice and shiny. There are some imprecations in the paint here and there but nothing major to point out. The chrome is all in good shape. The chrome all shines well but has some patina in a few areas. The 16” wheels are all original on the truck but has new original style hubcaps and original Cameo trim rings on them. The fiberglass bed is in great shape with no issues. The wood bed is in great shape with new stainless trim. The truck still has its original spare tire under the truck bed which is pretty neat. The windows are all in great condition with no cracks or chips in them. The interior was redone years ago when the truck got restored. The upholstery is original style and same with the carpet. The dash is very nice. And all of the gauges work. The heater works great. The truck even has AC that works great in the summer time. I believe the radio is a Retrosound unit but it doesn’t work because I was never given the remote to be able to turn it on. The windows all roll up and down as they should. The steering wheel is original and was recently repainted to match the factory color of the truck. There was a GM tilt column added to the truck. The engine is a 1957 283 V8. That runs very strong. There is an upgraded Edelbrock intake and 4 barrel carburetor on the engine as-well. The transmission is a 3 speed TH350 and the rear end is original. The truck cruises all day long down the freeway. The brakes are drums all the way around that stop very well. There is upgraded power steering on the truck which works well. The truck also comes with a true dual exhaust on it that has a nice sound to it but isn’t obnoxious. The truck drives well anywhere you want to go. It can handle the hot summer days here in Nevada. Overall this is a very nice, 1957 Chevy Cameo pickup. The truck is not perfect, it does have some wear from being an older restoration but I think its perfect for the majority of people. You can actually enjoy this pickup. It very clean to be proud of and show off but isn’t perfect so you aren’t afraid to drive it. I can store the truck in my heated garage so that payment is made and the truck is picked up. I have a clean and clear Nevada title in my name.
