Running Condition
This Corvette runs absolutely amazing, firing up every time with no hesitation. The motor was completely gone through and it sounds great with no knocking, pinging, smoking, or any funny noises. The transmission shifts smoothly through all gears just like it should hugging the road complimented by the nice and tight suspension. QIncluded in sale is the original engine and transmission. Both are correct 1963 Corvette engines and transmissions. The original matching numbers, engine and transmission were removed from the car and stored to preserve its value. The original engine and transmission are in GREAT RUNNING CONDITION
Body & Paint
The corvette had a “frame-off” restoration.
The frame was completely powder coated, then mated with new suspension, motor, and transmission bushings. The underside of this car will absolutely amaze anyone but, the engine bay is absolutely stunning as well. The body is super straight and has never been in a fender bender or accident. The Corvette still has all of its original bonding strips! These are strips that go up and under the car, front and rear wheel wells. These cannot be duplicated. This indicates the car still has all of its original body panels, which is very hard to see on these older Corvettes. The car has had one repaint done during the restoration in its original factory blue Daytona color. I would rate it as a driver's quality paint job, a local car show contender without a doubt.
Interior
The upholstery in this car is all original, never having to undergo a restoration. I think it looks absolutely stunning for the age of the vehicle. The seats have no rips or tears. The carpet has a little bit of discoloration to it. The dashboard is perfect with no cracks. Door panels are in great shape. All of the rubber seals and gaskets are in great condition.
Glass & Chrome
The glass pieces are all in good shape with no cracks or chips. They clean nicely and look really good. All the chrome pieces, including rear moldings, are original and look very nice.
Wheels & Tires
The wheels and tires are no exception to the rest of the car. The hubcaps are in excellent condition.
