1963 Chevrolet Nova Chevy II

Selling my 1963 Nova Convertible with clean/clear title in my name and located in my garage in Winter Park Florida 32789I recentlypurchased this gem (while trading/selling another antique) The Chevy II has had wonderful restoration ongoing since 2007 and was never really on the "road" until 2023 and now has 383 miles on it. I have used it for 12 mile rides locally and have really enjoyed it but I have injured my back and not up to extra stuff at this point so my toy is up for sale at NO RESERVE. I have driven it about 250 miles in the last few weeks, so enough to discuss any questions you might have. The pictures are all with in this time period (of note---I have discussed with three consignment dealers who wish to list it for $42k--I don't think they ever get those numbers and if so this NO RESERVE will take it where it needs to sell)Here is what I know fromdriving -- starts and runs well with what appears and I believe to be rebuilt motor and transmission. All new brakes and components (see pic) including steel lines and master cylinder. It stops great but most would have converted to power and disc?Electric fan with a manual on off (or leave it on and the auto thermostat will run it as needed--but will run for about 20 minutes after car shuts off---should be wired to key.somehow I have lost the coolant overflow cap?? and it is now a jeryrig piece of rubber til a new one is obtained by the newowner. All gauges and lights work spot on as it is completely rewired with new fuse block and every wire and connector new. The pic of the dash is from a cold start--so temp not up on gauge but runs at 195 degrees and all gauges are accurate andsystem charges with out any drains or gremlins. You will see very niceupholstery and sound/heat deadening under the new carpet. The underside is fantastic as pics showThe front windshield and gasket have been replaced with new and the convertible top is new. I have stopped using the top as it goes down with the hydraulic motor but struggles putting it back up??? fluid? not sure and right now temps have been in the 40's --the entire top mechanism is firm and not loose or catawonky when it opens and closes. The two back seat windows are really stiff to put up and down and the two fronts are easy.If you read about the 1962 and 1963 Nova--it is clear that folks back then did not appreciate the underpowered 6cylinder motor and 2spdpower glide as it barely gets out of the way leaving a stop light---I am fine with that and do remember that from riding in these as a younger person. So, I get when folk say they upgrade to a v8--but if I were to keep it, I would never tear this gem apart for a v8 and 3 speed trans -- you just learn to drive a bit differentlyAny way---call if you need info Terry 321-695-4332 I can assist to load--car needs to be picked up with in 10 days of auction end and there is a $2,000 non-refundable deposit to be sent with in 24 hours of end of auction via PayPal or Zelle or Square, and a copy of your license at that point as well. The same form for full payment or wire transfer to my bank.
