1970 Chevrolet Corvette

Isn't it time to get yourself a present for the holidays? This is a survivor 1970 C3 Corvette Stingray Hot Rod, with custom lowrider style paint, custom interior, supercharged engine, 4 speed manual transmission, shag carpeting, roll bar, sparkle vinyl interior accents, wire wheels, side pipes, polished aluminum intake scoop, chrome accents everywhere, custom pinstriping, and much more.
To be clear, the paint on this car is original, old, and has a lot of flaws, when you look at it up close. There are some photos of some of the more obvious problem areas. When I first picked up this car from a buyer in New York, I was going to turn it into a resto-mod, and just wanted a solid base. But when I saw how cool the paint was, I just could not bring myself to grind it all away. So I decided to amplify the 70's look, and added the gold sparkle steering wheel, interior, pinstripes, and other 70's elements.
The engine is a Chevy 400, with a Dyers 6V-71 roots supercharger installed. It is not a numbers matching engine. 8.5:1 CR. It is backed up by a Muncie 4 speed transmission. It has a 3:70 rear end. It also has a heavy duty rear spring, offset trailing arms, sway bars, aftermarket shocks, stainless steel calipers, and a Griffin aluminum racing radiator. Dual electric fans. No power steering, no power brakes and no A/C. The supercharger is topped by two new boost-referenced Holley 650CFM dual quad carbs. Ignition is handled by a MSD 6A, as well as a MSD boost timing master, that reduces timing per pound of boost. The boost retard controller is under the dash, as well as a boost gauge on the steering column. It is making around 10 pounds of boost. It is supported by dual fuel pumps, dual fuel filters, dual pressure regulators, and separate fuel lines from the tank to each carb.
It also has a retro-look stereo, that plays regular CDs, MP3s, USB and bluetooth input. It also has upgraded speakers in the dash, kick panels, and two modern 6x9 speakers in the back. It has shoulder harnesses attached to the Autopower roll bar, which is welded to the frame. The interior also has some custom painted panels, gold sparkle steering wheel, shag carpet mats, and sparkle vinyl door panels, as well as black crushed velour panels. The windows also have decorative etching. It also features removable T-Tops, for fun in the sun!
