1968 Chevrolet Chevelle REAL SS Super Sport

This car is AMAZING! This is a REAL SS car with bucket seats and floor mounted shifter. Don’t get me wrong, I like bench seats. I have those in some of my other cars and they’re great!….for luxury cars. But not in a real MUSCLE CAR….This advertisement is for the sale of my 1968 Chevelle SS. It is a fully restored car that was completed in 2016, which was about 3 years before I got it. That said, I would be guessing very high if I said that this build has 4k miles on it. I was offered 50k for it by 2 different people at a car show right after I got it, but quickly turned it down. It wasn’t for sale. But NOW it is. And if you make me an offer like that before it gets the first bid, it will be yours. Otherwise, I’m interested to see how high the bidding will go.This car is truly a sight to behold. It is a showpiece, and has one of the most remarkable paint jobs you will ever see. I am not exaggerating this in the least. The one question I ALWAYS get asked at car shows is “Where did you get this painted!?!” It has won car shows and I have LITERALLY never taken this car out and not gotten tons of thumbs up, waves, and horn beeps. This car has a ton of power. The 454 cubic inch power plant is like new, and again, I speculate that it has less than 4k miles on it. It is covered in chrome and polished accents and the engine bay is ready for the show. Fire it up, and the motor massages your eardrums with the deep, rich bass that only a big block running through long tube headers can provide. The upgraded aluminum radiator and electric fans keep the big block cool in traffic.I can think of nothing that would improve this piece of American Classic Muscle. It has everything and everything is super nice. Save the LS conversions and digital gauges for cars that AREN’T a superb representation of the original machine. The glass on the car is nice, and the vinyl top excellent. The air conditioning has been upgraded with Vintage Air and is cold. The power steering is smooth. The power brakes have been upgraded to 4 wheel disc, so braking performance is top notch there as well. In the cockpit, you’ll see very nice black leather seats and door panels, a nice headliner, and a dash with working gauges. The center console is very nice and the metal on the dash has been paint matched to the exterior of the car….in that BEAUTIFUL Candy Apple Red!If you want a complete and finished True SS show car that will turn heads everywhere, today is your lucky day. Don’t pay 70k-80k or more for a car this nice. This Chevelle was nicer than what I originally set out to get, but I couldn’t pass it up. Nowadays I prefer a more “driver quality” car due to not having to worry about where it can be parked when I’m out, or if it might rain while I’m out, or whether passengers can carry their coffee with them when we go out for a cruise. I’m funny like that. You probably will be too.
This car was previously listed for $49,900. Text or call me with reasonable offers before the first bid hits and I will consider them. 803-748-6536
