1954 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 AACA Grand Champion Show Car

Up for sale by a private party is this 9-time AACA (Antique Automobile Club of America) Grand National Senior Champion 1954 Chevrolet 210 4-door sedan with 63,000 original miles. It is powered by the original 235 cu. in. “Blue Flame” I6 rated at 125 hp and backed by the matching ‘iron’ 2-speed Power Glide transmission.

There are no disappointments with this ’54. A complete frame-off restoration was completed in 1997 and the car was shown for 12 consecutive years winning both The Preservation and Grand National Champion awards. In 2016 the Chevrolet was shown twice and then stored until the present owner purchased the car in 2019.

Before continuing the car show legacy of this AACA champion some freshening up was necessary and included new brakes (shoes, wheel cylinders, and hardware), new heater core, belts, and radiator.

The Bermuda Green and Parchment 2-stage paint looks as fresh as the day it was done. Little to no body work appears present. The tinted glass is all date coded for 1954. All the chrome is perfect, showing no pits or scratches. Please note that this 210 Chevrolet has just about every option on it which was available in 1954. The only difference between this 210 and the Bel Air would be the side trim.

Equally impressive is the factory cloth interior with the working clock and tube-style radio.

The underside is also very detailed. As a matter of fact, the owner told me that the undercarriage of this Chevy has been used as an example for others at many AACA shows.
