Fully restored 1977 Chevrolet Nova 9C1 Police Car, originally used by the Columbia, Missouri Police Department (have copy of original GM factory invoice to validate). The Chevy Nova police car is widely known as one of the most iconic police cars ever made. This car turns heads wherever it goes. CLEAN, RUNS and DRIVES, READY TO ENJOY! This car has been completed restored with either new, rebuilt or restored parts, and it has zero rust. On front subframe, has "COPO 9C1" marking. Has completely rebuilt 350 engine, rebuilt Turbo-hydromatic 350 auto transmission, front and rear stabilizer bars, has very rare bucket seat option, new paint, new vinyl flooring and floor soundproofing underneath, new alternator, new Edelbrock carburetor, new dual exhaust system, new front and rear seat upholstery, professionally mounted and wired Federal Twinsonic lightbar and era-correct interior emergency equipment, era-correct working siren and alley lights, four brand new tires with less than 500 miles on them, original 14X7 rims sandblasted and painted with original style hub caps, has original 120 mph speedometer exclusively used in the Nova police car. Undercarriage of car has been completely cleaned and recoated as part of its comprehensive restoration process.
Extremely rare vehicle, only two dozen of these original Nova 9C1 police cars are known to have survived in the US and Canada, and some of those are featured in police museums. Heat system works, Air conditioning system components are installed but not yet running (needs conversion from R12 to R134 refrigerant). All electrical is in good working condition. Passed NH road / safety inspection in September of this year. AM/FM radio and era-correct exterior spotlight are mounted in place but both will need to be wired in. Car was recently featured in the University of Missouri's annual homecoming parade. Clean NH title in my name, I do have an electronic copy of the title when it was owned by the city of Columbia, Missouri.Almost unheard of to see these Nova 9C1 police cars offered for sale, never mind in such fully restored condition....this is a 7-day auction with a reserve, with bidding starting at $500.
