1968 Chevrolet Corvette
If you have an interest in original classic corvettes, then this listing is worth your consideration. I purchased this first year version of a C3 corvette from the original female owner in 2006. It still has its numbers matching 327/350hp engine, mated to the original smooth shifting 4 speed manual transmission, with positraction. The car has never been smoked in; never in an accident; and always well maintained. It has a solid frame and 'birdcage'. Documentation includes copies of the original bill of sale; dealer's invoice; owner's manual with POP; and tank sticker.
This corvette was repainted in its original Silverstone silver color in the mid 80's. At that time, it received an upgrade to leather seats, and a new cloth top. While the paint remains in good condition there are several chips/scratches which can be seen in the pictures.
Some of the mechanical updates completed under my ownership include: new battery, SS fuel/brake lines, new exhaust, new calipers/brake pads, ball joints, redline tires, rebuilt positraction, and re-chromed bumpers.
Since I have 'aged out' of the classic car hobby, I have decided to pass this corvette on to its next custodian. Inspection are welcomed and encouraged.
