Running Project. Runs, Drives, and Stops, but not road worthy yet.
1957 Chevrolet Pickup
I have a supercool 1957 Chevy truck. Just dropped about a lot of money worth of wheels and tires onit. Has a 350 v8 and auto transmission. It sounds good; I can send videos of it running. It runs pretty good, drives (but not every day reliable), and stops.
Positives
Recently replaced spark plugs, plugwires, starter, had brake work and brake lines worked (drum), fluids checked, timing, etc. Has rust in the typical spots, butstructurally seems good. Bed and frame are solid. Comes with newer hinges, mirrors, blinker, window/door crank knobs. If I find any other random parts, i will add those too.
Negatives
I wouldn’t drive it over a few miles because it rattles underneath. At minimum, it needs tightened up but will need obvious work.Gauges don’t work. New hinges, so hood needs to be reattached. Lights needhooked up. Needs a good bit of random work- analyze the pictures and ask questions. Rust in the typical spots as you see in the pictures. Front end is green due to testing for future color.
This is a great candidate for arestoration or a good starting spot if you are looking to get into a running project.Don’t pass this up. Low reserve for this truck. Comes with certified bill of sale because I have not gotten it "road worthy" yet. If a title is necessary, I can arrange for a fast-track title.
