THIS IS WHAT I KNOW ABOUT THE CAR!!!
A friend of mine has had this car since 2003. About 3.5 years ago it was parked in late spring due to chronic breathing issues and bought a Lexus (for the A/C). They couldn’t drive the car in the heat of the S.C. summer without A/C. Anyway, in the fall when they decided to drive it again… wouldn’t start. We found that it needed a fuel pump. They never got around to replacing it or getting it started again.
SO,… I know that it ran daily, was parked in spring of 2020 for 6 months and didn’t start once they tried in the fall.
THE ENGINE IS NOT SEIZED OR LOCKED UP!!
INTERIOR IS IMMACULATE!!!
At this time,.. it needs a fuel pump (that we already knew), fresh gas and a good tune up.
This car is a very clean vehicle and great candidate for a RESTORATION. There is some rust sporadically around the car that needs some attention, but would be considered minor for a seasoned body tech.
We truly hope that whoever wins this car has intentions of being this car back to its GLORY!
I have owned the car for 1 week (since 10/17/23). I purchased it from my friend finally,… as I’ve been trying to buy it for YEARS, lol. Now that I have it, I realize that I’m way too busy to work on it and if I don’t sell it now,… it will sit around and wither away. I can’t let that happen!
