1986 chevy cavalier California convertible z24 4 speed manual
1986 Chevrolet Cavalier
Up for sale is my UNICORN that I sadly just don't drive enough to keep it. This is a 1986 Chevrolet Cavalier Z24, California edition convertible with a 4 speed manual! 2.8MPFI - This is the cleanest one I have ever seen, and the only California Convertible that is stick shift. (California convertibles all had pinstripe that matched the interior color as well). The dash reads 128K, but this thing looks like 28K. Still white paint under the carpets, undercarriage looks new!Recently used in a photoshoot - it was a big hit!
1) tach doesn't work, the rest of the digital dash is working fine.2) it looks like the washer button went bad, PO put in a button for it3) a few dings and touched-up areas, but a super clean car, took pics to highlight those areas.
Good stuff - NO RUST, super clean, - New battery, tuneup parts, fuel pump, recent tires. It runs out great, drive anywhere even highway speeds are smooth. The A/C (converted 134A) and power top still work fine. The top is in great shape no cracks or holes at all. If you love these old square-body cavaliers, this is the king of the hill. Has a red boot in the trunk as well. Snaps are missing along the rear trim, but the boot fits fine. Pickup in the suburbs of Chicago, can meet/deliver within a reasonable distance (50 mi?) if it helps - please ask me first!
