This K5 was purchased from the original owner, along with several other square body trucks about 4-5 years ago. This truck at the time had original 53,000miles, all original paint( no,rust ), all original interior. All vehicles had been stored in climate control from the previous owner who owned a Chevy dealership for more than 50 plus years. I own a custom HotRod/Restoration shop that’s been in operation nearly 30 years. I decided to strip this K5 to bare metal. Get all panels straight and gaps over corrected to have more of a show/daily driver. We made this K5 slick and straight as hell. Removed the engine, put all new gaskets and replaced all wearable items, upgraded the AC and heat system. Went through the complete suspension and all steering. Basically, made it better than brand new. Put all matching custom interior in the entire K5. This truck needs nothing, ready for a cruise or car show. It has a 350 engine with a 700R4 trans with overdrive. The top can be taken off and it was re-textured and painted during the restoration of the complete K5. You won’t find a cleaner K5 that’s mechanically top notch. Drive it anywhere. I have all pics of the rust free K5 before we ever touched it,all work while being done, all work in process, along with all steps of stripping,blocking, priming, and paint work from start to finish.
