Up for sale is one very nice little 1955 Chevrolet 5 window with Deluxe Cab Pickup. This is the first generation of the 1955 Chevy pickup, with the round one peace windshield and the older body style. I'm listing this little pickup for the brother of the builder that has passed away and this brother received it as a gift. He said that he is not a car guy and doesn't know much about cars. This truck is running it original 235 Six engine and it runs very nice. It has had a 3-speed overdrive transmission upgrade with open driveline and clutch is smooth. The overdrive doesn't seem to be working right now for some reason, but it did not long ago. This pickup has had several custom additions to the body work. Peaked, shaved and welded together hood, smoothed rear fender sides, filled and smoothed stake pockets and bed rail end caps. filled and smoothed rear tailgate uprights, custom tailgate latches, frenched rear lower license plate and split rear bumper. some of the updates are new wood bed with stainless strips. Powder coated splash aprons and running boards. re-chromed grill, bumpers front and rear and inside window moldings. Fastners are all stainless steel on the body. The no rust ever body's paint work was finished in 2004 in its custom mix silver gray color, but the left front fender has a nick in it, so it was repainted just a little while ago. Always inside storage with no chips or nicks. The interior is nice with its original dash and gages, original radio, very hard to find clock on top of the dash over the gages also Crome plated. It has a nice headliner, upholstered door panels and seat but I saw a couple of holes in the front edge of the seat. The truck has been converted to 12 Volt, but the windshield wipers, speedo, and gas gage are not working at this time?  The truck has just had a total service buy Wilson's Autotech at a cost of a little over $4000.00. It is ready for a new home! Again, I'm listing this beautiful little pickup for my friend and will take all questions to him. Buyer is responsible for shipping and all shipping costs.
