Here up for auction is a 1936 Chevrolet Old School Hot Rod Truck. The '36 was channeled six inches over a custom "Suicide Low-Blow Chassis" built by Mac's Ratz located in Red Oak, Iowa. Power is served up by a 1967 Chevrolet Corvette 327 equipped with double hump heads, motor built with 9.2:1 flat top pistons, Comp Cams Mutha Thumpr series hydraulic cam with Quick Fuel 650 carb sitting a Vintage Tarantula TM-1 single plane intake. The exhaust exits through a set of Zomie Headers with custom baffles, I must say this 'Ol '36 sounds wicked cool! Other details include a Turbo 350 automatic transmission with a 2400 B&M stall converter.The interior was sewn by Jim Stanley also out of Iowa. Beautiful white face gauges courtesy of New Vintage Gauges.Body mod's include 1930 Packard headlights slung low along side the 1933 passenger car shell grill reworked to flow like it was always there. Front end is a friction shock and spring setup courtesy of Speedway. Vintage WWII New Old Stock (NOS)B-29 wing marker lights for stop and turn signals. The 'ol '36 is rolling on a set of American Racing Torque Thrust D rears are 15x10's wrapped in a set of fresh (less than 100 miles) Mickey Thompson Sportsman 29x15x15, front tires are fresh as well (less than 100 miles) 15x4.5 wheels and are also wrapped in Mickey Thompson Sportsman 27x6x15, stopping power is achieved with power disc brakes on all four corners. In the bed of the the Chevy you will find oak bed slats with aluminum strips to bring it all together. The entire truck is in Dupont Centauri the body and bed Suede Brown accented by gloss black with maroon stripes on the body features, firewall and chassis.
