1935 Chevrolet Short 1/2 ton

Vehicle Details

Because the body is so solid and almost rust-free, my plan was to leave the original natural patina. The motor is a newer 1957,  235 ci engine. The 1958 head has been completely reworked at a NAPA machine shop, with hardened large valves and valve seats installed. The truck also comes with 5 new Coker tires, inner tubes, and liners, that are mounted and balanced on wheels that have been sandblasted, and powder coated satin black. The original radiator has been completely recored. Over a thousand dollars in new parts, including a new grille, and an OEM quality full body wire harness. New windshield and door glass. New headlight reflectors. Plus, many more boxes of new parts. Assembly and owners manuals. Comes with an extra transmission, and 2 extra bumpers that i was going to use for the rear. The top of the truck cab received a gash from a barn beam when they were trying to remove it from the barn. You are buying the complete truck here, no missing parts. Only the hood, headlights, and front grille assembly, were removed to allow removing the engine and transmission. The 4 photos of the truck on a trailer, and the very last pic of it on the floor, shows how it currently looks. Not much to reassemble the body.
