1975 Chevy 4X4 K10 Short Bed Pickup. 350 V8, automatic, power brakes, power steering.
My brother and I have a RV business. We got this truck as a partial trade for a 36' 5th wheel. We don't have a Motor Vehicle license, which means this is and has always been titled in my name, and will have nothing to do with our RV business. I've never had insurance on it, so I never drove it on the streets. But I did drive it around our lot. With that said, this is what I know about it. It starts, runs, drives and stops. Looks like a lot of time and money was put into this truck. Engine sounds good with good oil pressure. It looks good with a lot of new stuff. But I'm not sure all what has been replaced. Now, I'm going to list all the negatives that I know about since that's what's important for a buyer. First, It has exhaust headers for a 2 wheel drive I think, because the front drive shaft won't go on, the header is in the way. I have the drive shaft. I was told the 4X4 worked but the guy didn't want to change the headers after putting them on, he said it was a lot of work putting them on and didn't want to take them back off. Next, are a few smaller things, The gas gauge doesn't work, if you tap on it, sometimes it does work, but rare. You need to shut the driver's door kinda hard and you'll need to slam the passenger door to shut it. I think it's because the new door seals but not sure.The driver's window needs work. I rolled it down and it was very hard to get back up and I broke the handle.. The lights on the roll bar and the bull bar are not hooked up. It came new with two gas tanks but now only has one. And, it looks like it has a new carburetor, but on a cold start you need to let it warm up for 30 seconds to a minute before it will idle on it's own. It does have the door key and the locks work. I've might of missed something so, If you have any questions, please ask them before you bid. I have a good title in my name.
