This is not a show car, but is a great daily driver. The majority of 61 Vettes are priced over $100K, so this would be an excellent entry level Vette to drive and enjoy. Has a Wisconsin State VIN ID. Free and Clear Idaho title.

There were only 10,939 of this classic American Sports Car built in 1961. Odometer shows 88,122 miles, but speedo needle missing and odometer does not function when driven, so true mileage unknown.

Engine is 283 Cu In and it has a 4-speed Muncie transmission with a Hurst shifter, but non-matching numbers car.

Here are all the things that I did to the car to get it reassembled and drivable…

ALL NEW...Gas tank, American Racing Wheels/ Hankook Tires, Interstate Battery, Steering Wheel, Master Brake Cylinder, Spark Plugs, Rotor/Points/Distributor Cap, Fuel Filter, Door Panels, Radiator Hoses, Carpet, Battery Cables, Edelbrock Carburetor, Fuel Pump, Oil/Filter, Antifreeze.

Converted from original generator to modern alternator, but original style generator in trunk and includes tach drive. Tach nonfunctional-generator driven. To be in top condition, this car will require some TLC, but it is drivable, "As Is".

Radio and speedometer needle are missing. Both are available online, but ran out of time.

Painted in maroon paint in 1984 with white insert.

Includes a brand new in the box white cloth convertible top and a brand-new dash pad. Both are included, but not installed.

Enjoy a good looking, good driving 61 Vette at a fair value. This car just needs a caring owner to drive and enjoy this appreciating classic American sports car. Many smiles per gallon!
