1962 Chevrolet Bel Air Coupe Orange RWD Automatic
1962 Chevrolet Bel Air
Vehicle DetailsThis 1962 Chevrolet Bel Air bubble top Resto-Mod was transformed during a no-expense-spared full custom frame-off build done by Pro Comp Customs. The rebuilt 409ci engine breathes through Lamar Walden cylinder heads and the V8 is topped with dual Edelbrock performance carburetors. Exhaust is expelled through a custom Flowmaster system and there are electronic bypass valves for sound. A Be Cool radiator keeps engines temps low. The engine is backed by a 4-speed automatic transmission, and the Bel Air rides on a custom 3x3 boxed frame. For suspension, the custom Chevy uses a full tubular system with front A-arms and 4-link rear. An AccuAir four-corner system allows the car to go from driving height to ground level at the push of a button via a center console-mounted switch panel. Stopping power is provided by a performance Wilwood brake system, and the car features a narrowed rear end with custom front and rear spoilers. All body trim panels were filled and smoothed, and the Chevy is finished in House of Kolor Root Beer Candy paint with a Tangerine base. Additionally, the trim stripe was airbrushed and finished in clear coat. The interior is finished in a quality Saddle Brown leather. The dashboard and custom fiberglass console use the same Root Beer color as the exterior and sport a Dakota Digital gauge panel and radio head unit.
