Truck is in overall good shape for its age. Previous owner had a majority of the work on the truck done, and I have most of the receipts for the work. A Goodwrench crate 350 and crate 700R4 was installed, along with drop springs and spindles, and power 4 wheel disc brakes. Truck had bodywork and a faux patina paint job done around the same time, outer rockers were replaced, but inners and cab reinforcements could still use some work (pictured). Bed wood was replaced, but painted black, so it does have some splitting etc from trapping moisture. Interior was redone with Dakota Digital gauges, new carpet, and reupholstered seat.
After buying the truck, I had another shop completely rewire the truck, remake all the brake lines, install a Borgeson power steering setup, Ididit tilt column with 15" steering wheel. A Vintage Air A/C system was also added with the electronic control panel.
Not including the body and paint work, the truck has over $35k worth of parts and mechanical work done to it. Truck runs and drives well, and can be used as a daily driver, but like most old vehicles it is not perfect. I've put about 3000 or so miles of the 4000 that the truck shows on the odometer. It does ride a little stiff due to the combination of the drop springs and spindles. It would make an excellent shop truck. Unfortunately, I am looking for something a little different and it's time to let this one go.
Truck has a clear Arizona title in my name.
