Description:

1979 Chevrolet Corvette

READ ENTIRE NOTE - CAR WILL BE SOLD UNDER THE CONDITIONS PRESENTED WITHOUT EXCEPTION.

This car has been garage kept and owned by one family for the last 19 years. It was very well taken care of and has a total of $1000 worth of work in less than a year, basic servicing and includes a brand new battery with a warranty purchased two week. Registered as an antique, yearly insurance is very cheap. Was painted one time factory red at least 20 years ago.
I own the title, previous title was my father's who only drove it 2,900 miles in 18 years. It has 54,991 miles. I have some history of vehicle work and can vouch the quality and condition of the car by the auto repair shop who had worked on it for many years.
Brand new tires on the car and throwing in two additional brand new BF Goodrich tires in for free.
Very quiet engine, runs super smooth, please check out the video.VIN #1Z878 9S429 539

The process of the sale of this car is on my terms not yours. You are not in control of what happens after the sale, I AM. I told the last guy that before he ignored the process, was pushy and forceful and I canceled the deal. He wanted to drive it away without plates, insurance & proper documentation etc. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. Don't be that guy or give me a hard time after you win or I'm keeping your deposit. I reserve the right to cancel anytime too. I'll have no reason to do so if you're respectful, timely and go through the purchase the way I lay it out.
You can make arrangements to inspect the car in person, it does not have insurance or is registeredso a test drive is out of the question.
I'm selling this car for $2500+ less than it's worth and even less than a dealer would sell it on a lot. I don't need to upcharge on commission.
This is a higher end, very good condition, privately selling Corvette with a great engine, this Corvette is on the upper scale for its make and model so don't low ball me. This is drive away ready.
I can give you a definite lead of where it has been serviced and a 2nd one that may have some information from years ago from a classic Chevy dealership.____________________________________________________
A deposit of $500 is required immediately at end of auction, remaining balance must be mailed within 3 business days with USPS tracking sent to my home address. NO EXCEPTIONS
A cashier's check or money orders for the balance ONLY to be mailed to my home address for the remaining balance. It will need a business day or two to clear into my bank. - NO EXCEPTIONS
NO cash or personal checks - NO EXCEPTIONS, I REPEAT NO CASH OR PERSONAL CHECK.
Personal check = $500 deposit kept and no car. CASHIER CHECK OR MONEY ORDERS ONLY.

After these step are completed, we can begin the next process.
1)Bill of sale - don't care if your state doesn't require one. this is for both of our protection. - NO EXPECTIONS I'll get this going.
2)Transfer the title at NJ DMV - will need your required information and pay for the cost of the title transfer- NO EXCEPTIONS - Again, I will work quickly on this process. Once paperwork is ready, its yours.
3)Insurance info and plates should be brought with you in order to drive this from my home. It's yours after so if you drive away without insurance or registrationetc., its on you and you own it so it's not my liability. Or after the title is paid for you can ship it from my home via truck or tow vehicle at your cost - NO EXCEPTIONS

This entire process from the time the check is mailed, clears my account and paperwork to the title could take 10 days. THATS BEFORE YOU CAN PICK UP THE CAR. I will give you daily updates and contact you for any information needed.
******You're not going to win the car and except to drive it from my home the next day. It is going to be done the way I say.
If you don't want to agree to these simple terms, don't bid on it. Otherwise we'll have a very smooth transition of ownership.
I'm not going to risk any liabilitywhatsoever. If you read up to this part now you understand why, I'm not trying to be a jerk but this is the proper way to do this.
I can not be more clearer.
I'm hoping you'll value this car and treat it as the listed historic it is instead of destroying it in a year which seems to be the only people that are attractedto this car.
You'd be stupid if your expectations are to put 20,000 miles a year on it. It's more for a Sunday drive or show piece. It is listed as a historic vehicle.
It has hardly been driven in the last 6-7 years because my father eventually succumbedto Alzheimer's.Maybe 150 miles driven in the last 10 years and I'm probably overestimating.
PLEASE serious inquires only. I don't want to be given the run around or waste mine or yours time which has happened multipletimes. I am accessibleif you are serious and legit.
NO PHONE CALLS OR SIDE DEALS.NO NUMBERS, I'm not going to call you back.
AGAIN NO PHONE CALLS, BID AND WIN OR ASK QUESTIONS ON EBAY - I WANT A TRAIL OF MESSAGES so we don't pretend the information wasn't presented.
NO. SIDE. DEALS.
I'm not taking less, nor will I tell you what I want for it. There are plenty of other ways to sell this car so don't think I'm desperate. This will most likely be the last time I'm putting this up on E-bay because of the aggravation from potential buyers.
Winning bid is for the sale of car ONLY not any extras costs or taxes incurred by you.
Thanks for looking and good luck!
