Description:
1972 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210
1972 Chevrolet Vega Z-29 Roadster. It is not a BelAir/150/210. I pushed the wrong button while listing it and can't seem to change it. It is a Chevy Vega. This vehicle started out as a hatchback and was reinforced with sub-frame connectors and a six-point roll-cage welded to the floor. The steel roof was then removed in 1992. It has been stored inside a clean dry garage ever since. It has No roof now, but someone could fabricate a vinyl one if they were skilled enough. The engine was rebuilt in 2012. It is a Vega 2300 4-Cylinder. It was ported, polished, steel-sleeved and outfitted with a lumpy Crower racing profile camshaft, Offenhauser dual-port intake and a real DCEV Weber 32/26 carburetor. It has a manual T-50 Five speed transmission from a Buick Skyhawk. The car runs great and gets between 24 and 28 MPG. It has steel GT Wheels with 195/55R13 front tires and wider rear 13x7 Rims with 215/50R13 rear. The diff houses a 3.36 rear gear. There are anti-sway bars front and rear. The front is a beefy DOBI one and the rear is a factory GT one. It is a blast to drive, the engine mods really help the car perform and the chassis handles great. The two-barrel gets great gas mileage with lots of looks along the way. I created the car 30 years ago and would like to find it a new home.Vehicle Details:
