1968 Chevy C10 Short Bed

V8 Automatic Power Steering Power Disc Brakes

Truck has clear Arkansas title and is for pickup in Mountain Home, Arkansas (Baxter County). Buyer is responsible for transportation, seller will make himself available for pick up.

Bought the truck several years ago and have driven it less than 50 miles. (I start up every week and run around the cul-de-sac to keep lubed.) Selling because I have 2 other projects, and the cab on these trucks is kind of small for my liking.

Truck has 305 engine, 4 barrel and headers. Runs good, is not a hot rod. Has loud belt squeal when cold (haven’t got around to sorting out). After running for a while, the starter motor sounds weak, but then spins and starts, I think this is from header heat. I saw a little smoke at the exhaust the other day, but it quit after a minute. I assume the trans is a turbo 350.

Odometer shows 12,956 (has been around at least once).

Has 5-lug conversion and disc-brake front-end conversion (from about '81 model), I added brand-new power booster. Had front end rebuilt and aligned, nearly $1,000 (there is no sway bar). Cragars and tires have less than 50 miles on them.

Paint is faded, could use a new red paint job. Body and glass are good.

Here’s what’s not working: Horn, radio, voltage gauge, gas gauge, turn signal self-canceling. (Has aftermarket oil pressure and water temp gauges that work fine.) I have never got the door locks to function, these years are a bit of an oddball.

The heater motor blows, but switching between windshield and floor can be tricky. The trans column shift has some slop, has never been rebuilt.

Lights, turn signals, wipers all work fine.

Have brand new LMC Truck rear underbed gas tank, sending unit and bed gas cap (to get the tank out of the cab). These parts go with the truck.

Note: If someone makes a good offer past 15K I will end the auction and sell you the truck (after a small PayPal deposit is made). However, to be fair, after 1 bid is placed I will honor the auction to the end.

Not interested in trades.

Sold as is, where is.

$300 PayPal deposit due within 24 hours of auction close. Full payment due in 3 days of sale, prefer bank transfer (or cash), no personal check or money order.
