Up for auction is this 1968 Chevy Corvette Convertible Stingray in red with black interior and perfect condition black top. Vehicle is in great driving condition and has been recently gone thru by a well respected classic car restoration shop. Really sharp!
a Chevy 350 engine with upgraded HEI ignition system, rebuilt carb, and all systems checked and working properly. Transmission is a 4 speed manual standard shift with recently rebuilt shifter that works flawlessly. Rear end serviced and all rear control arm bushings replaced followed by a very specialty alignment of both the front and rear suspension/steering. Very few people can properly align these - it's dead on and drives great. Tires are brand new with maybe 30 miles on them and less than 4 months old.
Paint has been professionally restored and compounded/polished/waxed. Very sharp looking car. Small paint defects can bee seen up close but from 3 feet away looks great. Interior in fantastic shape and all original. Very clean car. All chrome in excellent shape.
This is a very honest and beautiful example of a 1968 Corvette Convertible - the very first year of the C3 Stingray corvette. Chrome bumpers in front unlike later years and a true collector! 100% of all proceeds going to support a local animal sanctuary - Hallie Hill. Happy bidding!
