Description:

1973 Chevrolet Corvette

I will preface this by saying I’m a 41 year old lady who knows nothing about cars. I’m a daddy’s girl and I bought this car for my dad in July of 2018 and had it shipped here. He had a 1974 the same color with a 454 and always regretted selling it. I parked this in a friends shop and it has been parked since that time. My dad hasn’t had the time to do anything with it. Unfortunately the mice have found it and I don’t know how much damage they have done. I didn’t clean it up to list it - obviously. My dad is now 81 and is driving a pickup with 315,000 miles on it, no drivers seat, and no heating or cooling, so I am surprising him with a pickup and I am going to send this to a new home to help pay for it. I never titled it in my name so I will be doing that this week. I have a video the lady I bought it from sent to me when I bought it over the Internet. I can send that to anyone who wants to text me. Sorry for dirty and dusty car - I want to be honest with what you’re getting. It’s going to probably smell like mice until you clean it good. I have included the description she sent me when I bought it. She sent me extra parts to go with - I can’t remember what they were but they’re inside the car. It makes me sad to sell it but my dad needs something he can drive that is comfortable and safe, and maybe someone can make this awesome. It ran fine when it got here. I am centrally located in the United States and shipping shouldn’t be terrible. Thanks for bidding.
Her description: 350 engine, 190 4-barrel V-8. T tops. Has been stored in controlled heat garage. 105000 miles. Driven less than 50 miles per year since 1994. All Eddlebrook upgrades done. It needs brakes if you're going to drive it this summer. Paint for next. Fiberglass all good. You will want to replace rubber bumper. The cage and car are rust free. You won’t find better in this shape and with $1,000 in parts to go with it. T tops do not leak. Lights and motor work. So, right now it needs a master cylinder which cost $40. I just noticed a bulging radiator hose and checked locally it is eight dollars. And then you need the rubber bumper. And you can either paint or not paint but it certainly could use paint we have washed and waxed it enough that it definitely has some patina to it.

Video has been posted. It was sent in that condition to me, and parked. I may see if I can charge or replace the battery, and start it up. Video of that may be added shortly. Check back!
