When special ordering this Corvette, the original had no idea how exceptional the carwouldbe.This Corvette was ordered at Morton Chevrolet in Frostburg, MD, dealer code 548, Zone 13 on Jan 2, 1968The order sheet shows the Corvette was built as British Green (983) with Tobacco interior, (435 Tobacco was a 1968 color only), L68 427/400 hp, 4sp, 3:55 posi track, AM-FM radio, tinted windshield and shoulder belts, (only 350 had shoulder belts). Production date was May, 1, 1968. The car invoice shows the delivery date of May 25, 1968The original owners manual, sleeve and protection plan (protect o plate) are included with the order sheet, invoice, tank sticker, receipts, Shipping Data Report and copies of each title. Milage is documented on the titles verifying the original milage to date is 36557 miles.Vette Magazine, July 1994 has a 4 page article and a 1996 calendar has the Corvette featured of the month of February.
