1955 Chevrolet 3100

1955 Chevrolet First Series Five Window 3100 Half Ton Project needing full restoration. Like a 1954. No motor trans driveshaft radiator or speedometer. Good passenger side running board. Floorsvery solid, they were sanded/ wire wheeled, treated with POR 15 rust neutralizer and painted with POR 15 grey. There is rust in all 4 cab corners; small hole in passenger rear corner, large hole in driver rear corner. There is a rust hole below passenger lower door hinge, and some rust extends up into the kick panel.Driver side front cab corner has significant rust and it extends up into kick panel. These areas all have patch panels available. Rockers and foot wells very solid and primed; Doors very straight and solid with mirror holes drilled around frames. Some drilled holes in roof from running lights. Passenger front fender very solid; driver front fender very rough; rear fenders have some dents, metal tears, and driver side rear fender has a small rust hole in lower rear (rear fenders restorable). Bed sides are straight, front panel and tail gate have some drilled holes and dents. Bed has tarp tie-downs (dealer installed?)Windshield has stone pecks, side door glass good except some delaminating, corner glass good, center rear window cracked. There is an 8 X 5" cuthole in the floor behind trans cover; dash speaker grille has been partially cut (I have a speaker grille cut from another truck to replace). Back half of frame was wire wheeled/sanded/ painted with black chassis paint. Bed now bolted back in place. Overall a decent five window project to restore or rod. Restored versions have listed on Ebay for $20-$77K. Sold as is no warranty. Located in Edmond Oklahoma 73025.
