Vehicle Details1938 Chevy 1958 235 inline truck motor three speed on the floor. Chopped 2 inches, doors have been gapped, rust repair panels done on rear bottom under trunk, and also on the inside body panel above rear fenders.rear fenders were NOS. Running boards are original and have been straightened using new metal on the face, stainless is NOS original. Bumpers are 1940 Chevy, hood handles are 1937 Cadillac, hood stainless has been straightened and polished. New gas tank, new complete cloth wiring kit, new electric fan with thermostat and manual controls, new radiator, new kingpins, bushings. Tires are new and speed balanced. Rear frame has been step notched. Suspension is stock. Grill has been straightened and polished. 1938 banjo has been restored and cast in clear, 1938 plates with 1941 plate holder in rear. Original 8 slot wheels with original accessory caps and rare aftermarket NOS dog dish caps. Wheels have been painted in the correct Yorkshire maroon. The color that this car came in according to body tag number. trunk and floor boards are in great shape windows roll down. Driver vent window needs new mechanism. Passenger vent works perfect. Exhaust manifold was split by Joe Epstein, and has straight pipes out the rear also done by Joe Epstein. Wiring was done by TuTu of La Puente. (Two local legends) tail lights are 1937 Hudson. Has GM locking gas cap tires are Firestone 6.00. Carburetor is brand new.
