1940 Chevrolet Other Pickups

Vehicle Details

Up for sale is a nice little 1940 Chevrolet Pickup bought by this owner in 1972 from a local farmer. He has owned it for over 50 years. This was his main ride for many of those years and the speedometer is showing 95955 miles on it. The truck has had an update 15 years ago. A mid 50's 235 full pressure engine was used, custom header added, Chrome stacks with (no mufflers) installed as was the 4-speed transmission and later rear end. its clutch is smooth, brakes work well and the truck sounds good too. A new aluminum radiator was just installed with electric fan. It has a one wire alternator, new battery, "ah-oo-gah" horn, Cool sun visor and this little truck drives down the road nicely at 55. The no rust ever body is Stright, and paint is 2-Tone toreador Red, darker red on the fenders and lighter red on the body and hood. (Looks nice) It does have a very few small rock chips on the front of the fenders and one spot on the edge of the driver's door where the clear coat is pealing just a little. (Hard to see in the pictured but please look closely) Bed liner is on the running boards for durability and also look nice. A custom-made flatbed made from Larch, torched and then varathaned adds to the look. Everything works on the truck. lights, turn signals, windows roll up and down as they should, and the gas gage is working. This little pickup has won many awards at car shows, has had inside storage and has been well maintained. This owner was an auto parts store manager for many years and know his stuff. I'm listing this pickup for my friend, and I will take all questions to him. Buyer is responsible for shipping and all shipping costs. We will help with loading on our end and in anyway we can. For your questions, please call Bill (208)750-0000.
