The Bel Air was Chevrolet's mid-priced line for 1962. This car is a two-door hardtop and was commonly called a 'Bubbletop'. Chevrolet had five V8 engine offerings for 1962 ranging from the standard 283 CID - 170 Horsepower up to the 409 CID - 409 horsepower. This car is equipped with the optional 409 V8, solid valve lifters and a manual transmission and was capable of a quarter mile time of 12.2 seconds.
