Clean square Body two tone 1977 Chevrolet C20 Cheyenne Long bed 2WD.
My son and I are the second owners of this truck. We purchased the truck in 2019 from a coworker whos Uncle purchased the truck new.
This truck has been highly modified and does require some work to make it street ready. The original 350 CID V8 has been modified, and now has 46cc Combustion Chamber Vortec Cylinder Heads, Mild Comp Cam, Cyclone Intake, Edlebrock 750 cfm AVS 2 carburetor, custom exhaust, original HEI distributor with a performance ignition module and MSD 8mm super-conductor wire set. The truck still has the original Turbo Hydromatic 350 transmission with a stage 2 shift kit installed. A new brake booster was installed in 2020. The cab has had the tilt steering column rebuilt, the instrument panel reconditioned, a new molded rubber full floor kit installed, window seals, custom dash mat, and a high end seat cover. The rear end has the original 3.73:1 open differential gear set. The tires are in very good condition. The truck has a aluminum tool box installed. The Grill, and tail lights have been replaced recently just to clean up the exterior. I honestly am not sure of the total mileage of the truck. The original Speedometer & Odometer was replaced in 2021. The original ODO read 86K but these odometers turned back over to 0 past 99,999 miles.
Included with the sale if desired: A used 700R4 4 speed automatic transmission and converter out of a 93' Vette. This transmission is a easy swap out that will give the truck a more aggressive 1st & 2nd gear, a Lock up Torque Converter, and overdrive gear for better highway driving. This year 700R4 is equipped with a cable operated kick down for passing, and converter lock up operation, and will work with a carbureted engine. I also have a wide Band O2 air/fuel ratio kit, and a adjustable vacuum advance kit for the distributor.
What the truck need repair wise.The Engine does need a set of rings installed on the pistons. It needs a set of brakes installed all around, and front wheel bearings. The passenger rear wheel seal needs to be replaced as well. There is a dent in the driver side rear bed between the tail light and wheel well.
This truck can be test driven as is, but serious buyers plan on bringing a trailer. The truck has been in storage, and should have the brakes and front wheel bearings repaired prior to roading. The buyer is responsible for any 3rd party shipping after purchase.
