A little History:

Second owner replaced the original 350 cu in 245 hp motor not exactly sure on when. He was lucky and found a Chevrolet Dealership in LI NY that had a early 70’s LS7 still in the crate. He purchased and installed the rare LS7 454 cu in 460 HP engine in this Z28 (this engine was sold by GM for off road use). A hydraulic cam and lifters was installed at that time with the same cam specifications grind (560 intake, 600 exhaust) as the original LS7 solid lifter cam (for ease of maintenance). Edelbrock Air Gap intake manifold installed with a Holley carburetor. ENGINE is STAMPED XCH (correct engine block stamp for the LS7). ALUMINUM WINTERS SNOW FLAKE CYLINDER HEADS (see attached pics).

The LS7 installation in this Camaro Z28 looks like it would have rolled off the factory assembly line in 1973.

Unfortunately he passed away in 2000 his friends helped his widow by starting it and maintaining the Z28 for 18 years. Till she finally decided to sell the car in 2018.

It was then purchased by a local LI FD Chief who heard of the car for sale by word of mouth. He purchased the car for his wife as a Retirement gift. This Z28 was gently used by his wife for the occasional local car cruise. They decided to sell the Z28 in 2022 to downsize in order to relocate and retire. I have been friends with the previous owner for close to 30 years.

If your looking for the ultimate head turner look no further. This LS7 powered Z28 is it….
