The first year for the 427 big block and the last year for the C2, That has some of the most beautiful features like the two-piece chrome bumpers, turbine-style bolt-on wheels, redline tires, and powerful side pipes. with many of its original components. We are the second owners purchased it from the original owner years ago This vehicle is a original California car. has only been repainted once to its original factory color Marbro red with black interior which is completely all original and still in excellent shape and comes with removable hard top with the vinyl that was an added option back in 67. also has a new convertible top. This is a beautiful Corvette stunning to look at compliments anytime you take it out. heads always turning. truly this is Chevrolets masterpiece all that being said. condition of vehicle is excellent. only flaws a very few tiny chips in paint and bigger chip under rear bumper as seen in pics. No cracks anywhere no stress marks showing age to fiberglass whatsoever. This vehicle did win a lot of local car shows but that was about 6 to 8 years ago. runs and drives excellent very tight. No shaking or rattling it truly runs and drives excellent no issues and yes the headlights do work the flip up and down One seems to be a little bit slower than the other but they still work all the same. American icon comes with A date correct 427 big block Corvette engine that is the original motor but has been completely rebuilt years ago and unfortunately numbers have been decked like most vehicles that are over 50 years old and me personally I wouldn’t want a 50 year old engine that hasn’t been rebuilt. And of course it does have the matching number M 22 rocker crusher four speed manual transmission that puts you in the center of the action. and now for the bonus just like I said earlier this vehicle comes with its original 427 big block also the original owner wanted even more horsepower and went to the Chevrolet dealer and installed a 502 big block that is currently in the vet right now and running really strong with over 500 horse and comes with documents and paperwork from a famous speed shop out in New York where it was sent out to be Built up and I got to tell you driving this thing it feels like a lot more than 500 hp that was an estimate that the shop gave being that the car wasn’t there to put it on a Dino could be a lot more so when you bid on this auction keep in mind that are you getting a factory 427 big block and a 502 monster. But that’s not all this vehicle also comes with an extra set of aluminum heads, extra set of steel heads, high rise manifold intake, and does have the original tire cover that goes underneath the vehicle also have original set of Rally Wheel‘s. and more too much to list.
