1946 Chevy Truck – restoration in progress – value to date:$45,000
There isn't much left to do to complete.The truck is almost operational with tons of new parts. Hate to see it go …but there is no room or skill to complete it.To date, it has been worked on only by experienced professional custom auto shops. Progress stopped - and the truck has been in storage.

Rebuilt:
- 700r4Transmission with internal cooler -- needs speedometer cable to be hooked.
Body:
- That famous Art Deco front grill is original, re-chromed and in excellent shape.
- Original dash and instrument panelframe is in great shape. Media blasted, boxed, primed and painted.
- Motor splash guards, starter, hood, running boards, fenders, headlight buckets, bow-tie front valenceare in great shape.
- Rear floor frame and metal bed are new and in great shape.
- Dashboard trim is chromed, door’s interior panels are in great condition.
- Overall body sheet metal is straight -- some smoothing required; no dents.
- Interior wheel well – good condition with a few dings of no concern
- Interior walls, floor and wooden batten that runs along the sides are in great shape
- 2 bucket seats are media blasted and painted - metal in good condition.
- 2 steering columns and wheel -- original and anIdidit. (The original is in great shape)
- Interior rear door panels are in good shape - cosmetic dent and dings on inside.
- Front and rear valences in good shape
- The rear driver’s side running board has a 1/2 to 3/4 gap to the rear fender. The previous owner tried to narrow the gap with thickbondoon rear fender. The rear fender is not dented.
- There are no rust holes in the interior or along the rockers.
Tires:
- Front tires hold air and are on replaceable rims.
- Back tires need to be replaced.
Doors/Windows:
- Front and rear doors open and close well, new hiddenhinges were installed.
- Have glass and frames for all windows.
- Two window cranks – front window cranks outward
- Windshield frame -- good condition. (There are no windshield wipers.)
- Door windows are wired for power; window motor is mounted.Need power window switches
Previous Repairs:
- Two interior rear roof corners patched -- looks great outside on the roof.
- Right rear door -- fiberglass/bondoskimming to smooth out the door seam. Looks good from outside.
- Hole on the driver’s side where a previous owner drilled a bolt through the wall of the panel to mount an extra tire. No rust holes or dents.

- Smoothed out withbondoright fender since it did not meet up to running boards.Good condition - no dents.
Needs:
- Body primed and painted
- Primer for front floor boards
- Installation of engine hood and panels - I have those
- Battery hookup and ignition switch -- battery for ignition, lights, dash instrument panel
- Rear bumper valence to be mounted to the quarter panels.
- Bumpers and running boards to be reattached.
- Locks and latches for doors (have original handles)
- Chair rails bolted/welded to the floor and cushions/covers for bucket seats.
- A/C install
- Installation of interior door panels -- panels are in good condition.
- Installation of rubber for existing window frames glass
- Lock, latch and windows installed for rear doors.(I have the handle and windows).
- Power window switches for door windows
- Emergency brake hook-up to release handle
- Installation ofa throttle kick down and pedal
- Installation of head, brake, turn, and interior lights – need lights/wiring; have headlight buckets and gaskets
- Possibly light body work for rear quarter panels by valence
- Rail runners for car seats
