This Resto Mod 1972 C10 is a show stopper. It has won best Truck in Show multiple times and Peoples Choice awards for it's unique look and Hulk theme. The Truck sounds as great as it looks too. I searched for over a year to find a REAL patina truck that was not faux painted to look old. This car is VERY SOLID and has mild areas of patina that have been treated to inhibit any further progression. This was done to preserve the look and uniqe personality of this truck. I started the build by stripping the truck to the bare interior, stripped out engine and transmission, all wiring, brake lines, lights, gauges, fuel tank, weatherstripping, glass, etc. The truck was then cleaned, all areas of rust treated, and sound deadining mat was applied to interior, firewall, floors and inside door panels. New fuel tank, float switch, american autowire wiring harness and fuse panel was installed. New Dakota Digital gauges were installed but we used the old dash bezel to preserve the look we wanted. Wilwood Brake booster was installed to provide strong responsive brakes. OTP stainless steel exhaust cut outs were installed with new dual exhaust system including ceramic coated Hedman Headers. A New 383 Blueprint motor with all new engine components were installed. (4,200 miles on truck since build) Driveshaft was balanced, new universal joints installed to a New TH350 automatic transmission. Truck features a sweet green two tone tilt Impala steering wheel. High torque starter and red top Optima battery provides the juice. (New Battery installed 4/5/23) Aluminum Griffin radiator and electric fans provide the perfect cooling for the truck. On the inside however, a completely new HVAC system complete with new ducts manufactured by Classic Air was installed. Again, to preserve the theme, the new chrome vents were tossed in the trash. The old vents were thorougly cleaned and re-installed. The truck actually has the original redio in her. We wanted to have a bit better sound so we purchased a new Kenwood KDC-HD262U Stereo, Alpine Amplifier and a JBL BassPro sub. All mounted under the bench seat. The remote control is simply pointed under drivers seat to control source and volume. By the way, Seat has new foam and upholstery. Finned air cleaner and custom powder coated valve covers in Hulk Green flank both sides of the 383. You may also notice the custom Purple Spark plug wires to match Hulk's favorite pants color. The dip stick also features a custom HULK Fist handle. In the long bed you will notice the battery is stored in a custom finned aluminum cast box. The truck was lowered and custom tubbed front fender wells allow the perfect stance to show off the beautiful wheels and thin tires. Serpentine belt system with Billet Specialties polished aluminum hardware keep this engine bay looking sweet! The brake and gas pedal is also crafted from billet aluminum as well. The INCREDIBLE HULK hand air-brushed art piece is screwed to underside of the hood and can be removed if so desired. The same Hulk logo is broadcast onto the floor carpet when head lights are turned on and can also be removed. There is way more to this build than I can list. This truck is a real sleeper and head turner. You can drive it ANYWHERE with confidence! I have a PERFECT rating and please read my reviews. You cannot build this truck for the price I am letting it go for. You will NOT be dissapointed!
