1982 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Indy 500 Pace Car

Hello!Up for sale is my 1982 Camaro Z28 Pace Car. Not too many of these beauties left in all original condition. The Camaro has an automatic transmission that shifts nice and smooth throughout all the gears. It also has the 305 cubic inch cross fire injected engine. Engine runs nice and smooth and has plenty of power. When I got the Camaro about 6 months ago I changed all the fluids (Coolant, ATF, Engine Oil). I also replaced all the belts and gave her a full tune up. I changed the plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor and air filters. Car starts right up and has never let me down. Turns heads at every car show and even get plenty of thumbs up at gas stations and on the highway. The interior is all original but is showing its age. I was going to replace the carpet and reupholster the seats but I'm forced to sell my Camaro because of a family emergency. It really kills me to have to sell her but life happens. The clear coat is fading on the hood and on some areas of the rear quarter panels. The rest of the original paint shines very nicely. I replaced the original radio because it stopped working and I replaced it with an aftermarket CD player/Radio. I still have the original radio if the new owner wants to try and fix it. I never smoked in this car and never had any pets in it. There is no rust on the Camaro except for a spot that developed on the rear quarter panel on the passenger side in front of the rear tire. I have 4 keys for the Camaro. The factory T-Tops sit and seal perfectly with no leaks. I am going to miss cruising on the highway with those T-tops off. It's an awesome feeling. Car show season is just beginning so the new owner can take this to many shows and enjoy the compliments. I also changed the front and rear brake pads and had the brake fluid flushed. All the tires where replaced by the previous owner and still have plenty of tread on them. I have all of the center caps. I took them off because I don’t want anyone walking away with them. This Camaro Z28 is only going to increase in value because only 6360 where produced and 1982 was the first year of the new Camaro body style. It also has power windows and power door locks. It also has the rare rear wiper delete option. I am over 50 years old and the Camaro was always babied in my hands and never abused. Classics like these should be respected and I hope the new owner understands that. Hagerty's Car Insurance values the Camaro in good condition at $16,100. Even in fair condition they value the Camaro at $10,900. With that being said I have priced the Camaro well below it's value for a quick sale. Low ballers and scammers take a hike. I've heard it all before. The $500 deposit is non-refundable and I can assist with transportation of the Camaro at the new owners expense. The car is being sold in AS-IS condition. I know I am forgetting some things but I tried to describe the Camaro to the best of my knowledge. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to call or text me at 516-398-12O4.
