Vehicle Details1977 K5 Blazer for auction.
Powertrain: Engine is a mid 70’s 350, rebuilt at some point. Runs great and doesn’t smoke. Has newer Radiatior and haven’t had any cooling problems. Has Quadrajet 4bbl and starts easy. Nice exhaust. Auto trans rebuilt approx 2 years ago, column indicator is slightly off but goes in gear fine and shifts nicely. 4wd works as should. Front end has new hubs and was checked and resealed within last 2 years.
Suspension: Original springs. Spring over front lift, blocked rear. Approx 4 inch’s. Power steering feels nice and tight. Newer shocks all around. Good 32 inch tires currently.
Body and paint: Was originally a red Blazer and at some point was painted Gray. Front fenders are repros and rust free, rear quarters are solid and rear floors have no issues.
There’s a little rust in the inner wheel wells, rockers and floor. Driver side being the worst. Is patched but just an amateur job. All Glass is good, will need some door and gate window seals if restored.
Electrical: appears to work. Charges fine and doesn’t have a draw. Gas gauge is inop along with temp gauge. Wipers and lights work.
Heat and defrost work.
Interior: Has more modern Chevy high back buckets in very nice condition, 1 small tear in passenger seat. Newer carpet and rear seat is great. Dash is cracked, door panels are good.
Comes with some extras in the back including 1 low back bucket seat in red and it’s original steering wheel in nice shape.
Sold new in Durango CO and spent its life here. Great project or driver for somebody. Clean CO title. More pics and running video on request. I do carry a Colorado dealers license and mess with old cars. I do collect state sales tax if you live in state.
