This classic rare findunique vehicle was purchased from the original owner in 1970.
The motor in this Corvette is a 427. Tri-power, this is a very unique and powerful engine. It is in top condition mechanically.
This car has been in a number of car shows and has won many awards.
When this car was purchased, the original owner had two Corvettes. All the numbers on this vehicle indicated that it was a convertible, however, there were T-tops on this car. A conversation with the original owner brought out the details of why there were two Corvettes. The original owner had cut both cars in half and put the backend of this vehicle (the convertible) on the 1968 T-top convertible stingray and switched them out. He still had the other 1968 in his barn. We then purchased the other Corvette and transformed it back to the original with the 427 back to being a convertible with all matching numbers.
This car has all of the original important parts, the interior is original, the seats will need some seams sown to be 100%.
We have all of the interior, it just needs to be put back in. The car has no damage. Besides the interior, the car will need to be painted. The original color for this vehicle is hunter green, interior is brown. The engine work is complete.
