Description:

1956 Chevrolet 210 Sedan Patina

This '56 Chevy 210 2 Dr Sedan was found in Northern Arizona and had been sitting in storage since 1983. It was rescued and started to be transformed into a car from the by-gone era....a Jr. Stocker built for the street.

The original patina on this car is what guys are paying thousands of dollars for this look. This patina is all natural.....they only look like this once. One paint job since new and much of the interior is original. To keep with the theme the interior it has a vintage green metalflake three spoke steering wheel, a set of three vintage Stewart Warner gauges in a panel hung under the dash. Hurst Competition Plus shifter made for bench seat tri-five Chevrolets attaches to a Muncie 4 speed hooked up to a very rare Ansen two-piece cast iron scattershield! A new version of the old Sun Tach sets on the dash.... and it does work. And of coarse it has a radio delete plate, and is heater delete. Stock front bench seat and stock original rear seat. Door panels have been recovered many years ago and are still very presentable. All the inside garnish mouldings are there. All the floors in the car are very nice, no rust and sound deadener has been laid down to protect from the heat. Trunk floor is just as nice, very solid car. Southwest car.....our cars don't rust out here, they just get hot. Optima gel battery installed in the trunk and the spare tire well has been covered with a delete plate. All the original exterior stainless trim is nice. American Autowire complete wiring harness was installed, front to rear.

The six cylinder 235 cu. in. engine actually still ran but in it's place a completely rebuilt 327 was installed. Mild street cam, fuelie heads, 1406 600 cfm Edelbrock carburetor sets atop an original C3B Edelbrock aluminum intake. Exhaust is dumped into a set of Hooker fenderwell headers mated up to a completely new exhaust system that exits out the rear under the bumper. New thick core radiator and shroud help cool this beast. 1960s 40-2000 Cal Custom finned aluminum valve covers top off the small block. New gas tank.

Power disc brakes help stop this hot rod, front discs, rear drum setup with all new components; shoes, pads, hardware and wheels cylinders. New front spindles, new coil springs new A arms, ball joints, etc. Rear end is the original stock rearend housing with a posi unit installed. New rear leaf springs. American Racing Equipment aluminum 5 spoke Torque Thrust wheels at all four corners; 15 x 4 1/2" in the front mounted on new Firestone 165R-15 front runner radials, 15 x 6 in the rear with Towel City Racing "Pie Crust" Cheater Slicks.

In the trunk are boxes of extra new parts and original stock pieces that go with the car.

Finish the car as you like and turn heads when you drive into "Mel's Diner" and park next to the wanna be cars.......John Milner would be proud.
