1970 Chevrolet Corvette

UPDATE ( AFTER BEING ASKED ABOUT THE HISTORY OF THIS CAR AND PICTURES OF THE VIN TAG AND TRIM TAG I HAVE ADDED THOSE! Also all I know about this car is it was once a NYC street race car many years ago! And I never raced it! It sat in mine and someone else’s garage as a roller for 25-30 years between me and the previous owner! Back to the original listing) I am selling my corvette that i bought to race but i don't have the time or money to build it the way i want so it has to go! I was told it was originally a small block (no idea if that is true) 4 speed, green coupe but many years ago someone made it a 'drag car', the heater, radi, ru, consol, wipers have all Been removed it has a roll bar but someone cut the back bar and drivers side bar out, it has a fuel cel, linelo, and some rear end upgrades like aluminum body bushings,3' half shafts, half shaft safety loops,4 stainless calipers, new pads and new master cylinder last year, all joints were new when i got the car and are solid joints, it has an old school shark drag bar traction bar, 10 long wheel studs, accell vacuum can, a couple of autometer white face gauges it has a mid 70s hood 1975ish,still has the clutch peddle, I have the drive shaf, yoke and trans mount and cross member as seen in the picture of parts that come with the car, the Hedman small block headers are in real nice shape, the car has a 2.5" exhaust with Flow masters, the frame has no rust that i can see, some clown removed the headlight buckets and started sealing off the openings (i looked underneath and the lip is still there along with the brackets) it also looks like someone added bigger wheel flares (like ZL1 FLARES?) i have had this car for about 10 years and had plans to build an NHRA stocker out of it but never got to build it because of time or money! this would be a great start for a bracket car or street strip car! i had this car registered and insured for a while and it can easily be put back on the street all light and brakes work as they should (with the exception of some moron taking the head lights out) but to be a simple budget drag car all it needs is a motor and trans! the car needs a lot of TLC paint, bodywork and interior work to be a real nice car! right before these pictures i rinsed off the dust so it was wet don't go thinking it is a shiny car LOL the rally wheels are 15x8 on back and 15x7 on front with like new 215/78/15 and also nice shape mickey Thompson sportsman L-60-15 rear! the last owner raced it with a 406 automatic with nitrous and it ran high 11sCLEAN TITLE IN MY NAME!
