"This is a no reserve, no returns auction, the truck is being sold as is where is, bid to own"This is a very nice and tasteful 1964 Chevy short box custom cab pickup, but not a perfect show truck. The truck has a perfect running 350 H.P. 350 motor and a 2 speed power glide transmission, new drive shaft and new U joints. The motor was rebuilt 10 years ago with maybe 35 to 40 hours running time and driven around the neighborhood occasionally. The owner restored most of the truck over a long period of time but didn't really get to enjoy his labors, because of a massive heart attack which forces the sale of the truck. The mechanical work was done recently by a local and reliable shop here in town. They did a new oil change and filter, a complete tune up, new plug wire, new HEI distributor, new spark plugs, new Edelbrock 650 4 barrel Carb, new air filter and aluminum intake, new long tube stainless headers, complete new exhaust. New ball joints, new front power disc brakes, complete new brake lines and fuel lines, new fuel pump, new coolant hoses, and v belt, complete new rear brakes, new battery, new one wire alternator, all new frontend components, new tires, new 5 lug conversion on all four corners and a new frontend alignment. The truck has new shock absorbers and new springs all around. The truck drives and stops great. The dash has a new inurement panel. All the running lights work, the dash lights, interior light, the turn lights, brake lights and fuel gauge works correct. The windshield and seal are new, the 2 speed wipers are new and work great. The motor runs smooth, no smoke, or unusual noise on cold starts, no overheating issues. The undercarriage is rust free with it's original cab mounts and inner rocker panels. the truck still retains it's original rust free rocker panels and cab corners. The doors close tight with no worn out, or saggy hinges, the door glass goes down and up easily. The chrome and stainless on the truck are very nice and very presentable. The upholstery has been professionally and recently done, new door seals and new original type floor mat installed.
