Description:

1986 Chevrolet Camaro IROC Z28

To start with, let me first say that I understand that there is a lot of information in my ad. I also understand that this may be boring to the person who is just looking and not buying. However, for the person who is looking to buy and spend their hard-earned money, I feel that there is never too much information.

As for myself, I am not a dealer, just a (72) year old kid that loves muscle cars. For my work, I recently retired from managing a Correctional Facility here in Maine and had worked for the Maine Department of Corrections for (40) years. I am also a respected member of my community. I mention this only because of the value of this car and so that prospective buyers will have some idea as to who they are dealing with. Also, please check out my eBay feedback which is 100% with (1,345) transactions.

Mileage Exempt.

Now for your consideration is this 77,614 mile 1986 Chevrolet Camaro IROC Z28. I don’t know what to say about this Camaro other than it does need work. However, it is 36 years old and starts and runs well. Originally a 305 it now has what we believe is a 350TPI. Originally it was Bright Red. At some point it was painted yellow and then back to red. The RPO code sticker in the glovebox as well as the tire pressure decal from the driver’s door are both missing. Without these, we could not document that the Camaro was a real IROC Z28. To prove this, we reached out to the GM Heritage Center and purchased the GM vehicle invoice. This invoice confirmed our suspicion that the Camaro was indeed a real IROC Z28. The invoice is now in the glovebox. According to Hagerty, the 1986 Chevrolet Camaro IROC Z28, in fair condition, has been trending up consistently for the last 9 months. Today’s average fair condition value, according to Hagerty, is $14,400.
