2-Door Station Wagon

Description:

1955 Chevrolet Chevy Wagon

It has a 350 ci engine with a mild cam with low miles. 700R4 Automatic tranny freshly rebuilt. Drives strong and it purrs on the highway. I have had this wagon for 22 years and it has been on and off during those years. The cosmetic condition could be improved and it has achieved a sweet patina throughout the top and the hood, where the sun hits it the most. Being a 2-door wago, it makes it very unique plus it has a one piece front bumper which I believe these models were manufactured to be sold only in the state of California because of their safety regulations.
The driver and passenger floor areas feel crusty and eventually will have to be replaced. The upholstery is old, but not torn and retains the old, musty smell of being a vintage vehicle.
Clean Texas title.
The main reason I am selling is because I have been fighting Parkinson's for the last 10 years and I feel that in the near future I may not be able to enjoy driving and showing it off like I have done it for all this time.
I understand the asking price might be a little stiff for some, but I am looking for someone that may be able to understand and be in the position to help me out and continue the legacy of owning a piece of American history... Godspeed.
