Description:

1956 Chevrolet Two-Ten Series

This is a Barn Find vehicle, which has had the Engine, transmission, and rear end removed and was sitting on blocks when found. The body and frame is completely original and complete in almost every detail. All sheet metal is straight, solid, and free of dents, and free of body filler, with the exception of a minor repairable dent on passenger door and rusted rocker panels and floor pans. There lower rocker panels need to be repaired/replace, and interior floor pans front and rear are rusted out and needs to be replaced. This is only major body work needed on this body. Frame is very solid if you choose to use it. Rusted, but only surface rust, and no severe rusting. This is a Georgia car, and was never exposed to harsh salt and freezing conditions. All trim, emblems, mirrors, and chrome is 98% complete and is present on the vehicle. Some, but not all, trim needs restoration. Front bumper is missing, and the rear is damaged will also need to be replaced. OEM radiator is still in engine bay. The dash is complete in almost every detail with all the original OEM guages, instruments, ignition switch, spedometer, and light switch. The front seat is removed, however the rare OEM 60/40 rear seat is with the vehicle and complete and very restorable.. . Hood is in good condition and fits nicely. This vehicle was stored for a very long time, and was almost black with dust, dirt and debris, Exterior was cleaned with soap light pressure washing to remove dirt and grime,,, Inside the vehicle was only cleaned with a vacume cleaner to expose what is shown in the pictures, including OEM door panels, and sagging OEM headliner. This is outstanding candidate for a full high-end restoration with frame replacement, modern suspension and rear end and the addition of LS engine.
