Description:

1967 Chevrolet Camaro Rally Sport

Barn Find.....1967 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible RS. This is a true barn find that has been sitting for the last 40 years. It is a little rough, but it is a true Rally Sport Convertible and worth saving.

From decoding the cowl tag, some of the highlights include:
  • Built in Norwood Ohio on the 5th week of October 1967. It is Ermine White with a Black top. It has Black Custom Bucket seats. It has the rare Power windows option (only 4957 total produced that year. ) Also has a Power Convertible Top. The car has the RPO Z22 Rally Sport package and also the Appearance group with Bumper guards, Floor mats, and Door Edge Guards. Lastly the car has a rear antenna and deluxe seat belts.

The car still retains the original 10 bolt rearend with what I believe is a .308 gear set. The engine I was told is a 327, not sure if it is original to the car. Believed to be replaced at one point. The Transmission is still original, but was rebuilt at one point before storage 40 years ago.
Now the bad part. The car as you can tell is no cream puff. It will need extensive sheetmetal work to be brought back to original. The floor in the trunk is soft and it looks like the front floor boards were repaired at one point but never finished, then rusted back out. The quarters are rough, and were attempted to be repaired and covered in bondo and never finished. There is rust in the front fenders also. Just basically look at the pictures and see if you have any question or comments. I can take any pictures of any areas you would like upon request.
The car is being SOLD AS IS. I suggest you come and take a look at it in person, or I can walk around and video it for you if you want to see a particular area. This would make a perfect parts car, or spend the time and restore it back to original. Car is located in Clinton, Ohio 44216.
