Hans Feustel built 408 ci small block .040 over. CP pistons with H beam rods. Callie’s crankshaft. Crower solid lifters rolling on a Comps cams custom grind camshaft. This cam is a billet solid roller that features an iron distributor gear to avoid the maintenance of most billet rollers. Shaft rockers are by Jesel. Heads are Dart 230cc Pro one’s with appropriate PAC valve springs. Intake is port injection single plane from RHS with the most favorable injector angles. This motor dynode at 598 hp on a SF-901 Superflow Engine Dyno. Fuel delivery is port injected using Holley HP EFI and Holley dual sync distributor to allow for precise timing control. Siemens Deka 60 lb. Injectors are utilized along with a MSD 6AL box and Holley throttle body.

The transmission and drive train consist of the following: A Tremec TKO 5 speed built by Modern Driveline. Updated internals include carbon synchros to allow for smoother shifts at higher rpm’s. A Ram clutch with Kevlar liner material is utilized along with a Dynotech high speed balanced steel driveshaft. At the rear is a Detroit Speed Engineering housing with Gear FX center section…9inch based, posi type carrier.

The vehicle takes advantage of Vintage Air a/c and heat gen IV sure fit system, including a 3 knob control head seamlessly incorporated into the factory dash control area. Additionally a Vintage Air “front runner kit” configuration is used to provide a single belt clean install of accessories including, a/c compressor, water pump, power steering and alternator. The vehicle is totally rewired utilizing an American Autowire harness.

The suspension and chassis consists of an original factory frame, powder coated with narrowed rear and boxed center section to provide for mini tubs and a strengthened configuration. Detroit Speed steering box, control arms, double adjustable coil overs (JRI models) and sway bars are used. The entire suspension package provided by DSE is utilized, with no expense spared. The vehicle rolls on Forgeline 18”x8” and 18”x 12” wheels with Michelin tires and oversized Baer brakes.

Additional features include Recaro seats and custom upholstery, Classic instruments, Focal speakers in kick panels and hidden under the package tray as well as a custom made sun-woofer and amp mounted discretely in the nicely finished trunk.
