Vehicle Details

This is a rock-solid 72 Monte Carlo driver. 383 stroker w/ fully forged rotating assembly, TH350, 12-bolt posi w/4.10:1 Richmond gears. The aluminum heads allow this 11.2:1 compression motor to run flawlessly on premium pump gas. The interior is a 5/10. The seat covers, dash pad, and door panels have been changed to black. The rest of it has been painted and it’s fading. A new carpet and a repaint would go a long way.

THE TIRES - MT Sportsmans and ET DRAGS in rear.

The tires tell the whole story. They’re date coded 9 years ago and the tread looks new. My health’s been failing, and I just haven’t been able to enjoy it. I’ve made sure to start it, and take the occasional spin, but that’s about it. The Craigar SS mags started rusting when they were about a month old - very disappointing. They look OK as long as you don’t look too close.

If it weren’t for the tires, I wouldn’t give a second thought about driving this car anywhere (just make sure to have a suitcase full of gas money).
