1955 3100 second gen. Stepside with Big Back Window. I purchased this vehicle 10 years ago out of Texas. It would appear that the paint was likely done in the 80's. The builder of this truck married late 80's G-body front and rear to the existing frame to give it power steering and suspension. I have added airbag suspension to front and rear so that the truck can get low while parked but easily raise up to a safe driving height. This past winter the truck was rewired using a new painless wiring harness and fuse box. The truck has a carbureted 350 CI motor and 350 auto trans. It runs and drives as it should with all working gauges. The paint is definately aged with dings and chips in various places, however it's paint job does get attention so I never found a reason to repaint it. The bed wood is still like new and it has a fuel cell in the rear which is accessed through the bed.
